How it begins

Good morning, your child's name! Here is one blue sock with yellow stars. But where is the other sock? Their Pet does not know. Do you?

Your child's name puts on the sock. One foot warm. The other foot is cold and bare! Hop, hop, hop. "One sock is no good," says your child's name, and pulls it off again.

Their Pet sniffs the air. Sniff, sniff. "Let's look for it!" Where should your child's name look first?
